50+1 Bash

The only problem with having a milestone birthday during a global pandemic is you have a limited time in which to celebrate…..  unless of course you do what Bruce did, and have a ’50+1′ Birthday Bash!

The Tickled Trout in West Farleigh was the fabulous backdrop to Bruce’s birthday celebration.  The benefit of having the whole place to yourself is that you cn decorate it as you wish.  It was evident from the moment we arrived that a lot of thought and effort had gone into using the different spaces and setting the scene perfectly.

As can be expected from a venue such as The Tickled Trout, the food was exceptional and there just seemed to be more and more food coming out all the time!  Bruce even had a personalised Sweet Cart laden with sweet treats…. not sure whether it was to keep the kids occupied or the adults filled with sugar!!

Music was provided by the ever spectacular Hullabaloo.  We have enterained with these guys before and they really do put on a stunning nights entertainment.

For those who needed a bit of mental stimulation prior to hitting the dancefloor Bruce had arranged for not one by two fantastic magicians to wow and confuse everyone with their magicary!

When Bruce first got in contact about having some fun with a Birthday Photo booth we had the usual discussion about what he wanted, and fun, fun and a bit more fun was very much the order of the day.   Bearing in mind the space that was available, and not wanting to make the room feel cramped, we opted for the Lumia Booth, the brand new Booth that we have for 2022.  It’s a beautiful photo booth with stunning LED ‘attract me’ lights which we were able to match to the colour theme of the party.

Don’t be fooled by it’s small footprint, the Lumia Booth uses the same semi-professional DSLR camera as our top of the range Photobooth and Selfie Mirror. however, as you can see, it also has the ability to capture vibrant GIFs and Boomerangs as well as Photos and Videos.  And of course, a Birthday Photo booth isn’t a Birthday Photobooth without loads of Props, and we laid out an insane amount of props – nearly TWO 6ft tables worth!!

The party was a huge success.  The Dancefloor was full all night, the Lumia Booth (in full Birthday Photo booth mode) was absolutely buzzing all night and the photos are hilarious!!   Always a great sign when guests keep coming back again, again and again…. You can always tell the serious serial photoboothers as they are planning their prop changes whilst waiting to have a go!  So much fun!!
