Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Entry into the competition implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
1. Promoter
The Promoter is Odyssey Events (www.odyssey-events.co.uk), based in Hartfield, East Sussex, UK. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
2. Eligibility
Open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
Employees of Odyssey Events, their families, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion are excluded.
Entrants must have an active Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok account.
Only one valid entry per person per platform is permitted (maximum three entries per person: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok).
3. How to Enter
Instagram – Like the competition post, share the post, and tag two friends in the comments.
Facebook – Like the competition post, share the post, and tag two friends in the comments (this receives a bonus entry).
TikTok – Like the competition post, share the post, and tag two friends in the comments (bonus entry).
All steps must be completed on a platform for the entry from that platform to be valid.
No purchase is necessary. Internet access is required.
4. Competition Closing
Closing condition: The competition will close immediately once Odyssey Events reaches 500 followers on Instagram. The Promoter's internal records will determine the exact time the 500th follower is reached; any entries received after that time will not be valid.
5. The Prize
One winner will receive a free 3-hour hire of the Odyssey Retro Booth (or an alternative Odyssey Events booth if the Retro Booth is unavailable on the winner's chosen date).
The prize must be booked and used by 30 November 2026.
The prize is not valid in December (any year).
The venue must be within 15 miles of Hartfield, East Sussex. Bookings outside this area may incur additional charges (mileage, accommodation, delivery, etc.) which will be payable by the winner.
The prize covers booth hire only. Any optional extras (albums, printed products, custom props, early setup, additional hire time, travel/accommodation charges, etc.) are not included and will be charged at standard rates.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries once the competition has closed (i.e. when 500 Instagram followers is reached).
The draw will take place within 7 days of the competition closing.
The winner will be contacted via the platform they entered on (Instagram direct message, Facebook message, or TikTok message).
The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to confirm acceptance and to arrange booking. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The Promoter may request proof of eligibility (e.g. age and UK address). Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification and an alternative winner being selected.
7. Publicity
By entering the competition, the winner consents to the use of their name and any photos taken at the event for publicity purposes by Odyssey Events. The winner will be asked for permission at the time of booking.
8. General Conditions
Odyssey Events reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances make it necessary.
Odyssey Events reserves the right to cancel, amend or withdraw the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or do not comply with these Terms & Conditions will be rejected.
The Promoter's decision on any matter relating to the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
Personal data supplied by entrants will only be used for the purpose of administering this competition, contacting the winner and fulfilling the prize. Data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Where personal data is retained by the Promoter, it will be managed in accordance with applicable data protection law (including the UK GDPR).
10. Platform Rules
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. By entering, you release these platforms from any liability in relation to this promotion. Entrants must comply with the terms & community guidelines of the platform(s) they use.
11. Fraud & Abuse
Entries suspected of being fraudulent, created by bots, fake accounts or otherwise in breach of platform terms will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering with the entry process or acting in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
